CHRIS WISTNER"Wis" grew up fishing, hunting, and camping around the Finger Lakes area in upstate New York, but always wanted to see the mountains out west. He moved to Park City in 1991, excited about fly-fishing and exploring the pristine streams and lakes of northern Utah. His love of fly-fishing encompasses not only the pleasure of fishing, but also the enjoyment of the beautiful scenery and incredible natural resources that abound in Utah. |
MASON OSBURNEMason grew up in Southern California with a love for the outdoors. He moved to Park City in 1989 to enjoy the mountain lifestyle- snowboarding in the winters, biking, hiking, and exploring Utah the rest of the year. Fly-fishing was soon added to his list of favorite things to do year-round. He enjoys sharing the experience of a day on our local rivers and inspiring newcomers to the sport. |
ERIC HUFNAGLEEric joined the Jans team of fly fishing guides in the summer of 2002 after being lured by both the Wasatch Mountains and best buddy Jeremy Rogers (also a guide for Jans). Prior to that, he guided in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for eleven years. He also spent two years guiding in South America on the Futalefu in Chile. But, his world traveling does not end there; Hufnagle has fished all over the world including his most recent trip to Norway. |
JEREMY ROGERSJeremy has been a fly fisherman all of his life. He loves teaching people the art of fly-fishing and gets great enjoyment seeing his clients catch fish on a fly. Jeremy is an experienced guide on the Green River and has guided extensively on the Provo and the Weber River Drainage. He grew up fishing rivers in Maine and moved to the West after college where he has been guiding for Jans for the past several years. |
CODY EDWARDSCody is native to Utah and grew up fishing local waters from the Weber River to the Uinta National Forest. He spent his childhood knee deep in water with rod in hand casting to rising trout. Cody's passion for fly fishing continues to grow as he pursues species such as trout, bass, carp and even tiger muske on the fly rod. |
BRYAN SILVEYBryan Silvey grew up in Asheville North Carolina stalking the creeks and rivers of the southern Appalachian for native Brook trout. In 2000 Bryan moved west to Gunnison Colorado in search of new waters to fish. After graduating college in 2004 Bryan continued to fish the waters of Colorado, Wyoming and now Utah. Bryan is very passionate about educating others on the importance of a healthy river and the environment that surrounds them. |
